Tom Robinson exclusively counts down the Top 20 of The World's Most Blogged Artists of 2014 so far, plus invites listeners to create a playlist of the best new music this year.

In the first hour, Now Playing will be playing tracks from the most blogged artists, courtesy of Hype Machine, a website which indexes over 800 of the world's most influential music blogs and tracks their coverage of difference artists.

The show will feature Hype Machine's Dev Sherlock plus some of the UK's biggest bloggers. Last year Disclosure took the Most Blogged About Artist title in the half-year countdown: who will take the crown this year?

In the second hour, the show is handed over to 6 Music listeners to help create a playlist featuring their favourite new music from the first six months of 2014 and sharing who they reckon should have made the Most Blogged list.

Listeners are invited to send suggestions via Twitter using #Blog6Music, post on the Now Playing blog or the 6 Music and Now Playing Facebook pages, drag tracks onto the collaborative Spotify and Rdio playlists, or via the other usual live show contact methods.
