Legends Week continues with Steve Lamacq

Radio Legends Week continues as Shaun hears from 6 Music's very own Steve Lamacq, plus he has more Earworms and another Small Claims Court caller.

Radio Legends week continues as we hear from our very own Steve Lamacq about his life in Radio.
Steve started his radio career in the early 90s on "Q102" - the pirate radio station which later became XFM - as the presenter on the drive time show. In 1993 Steve started his iconic Radio 1 show the Evening Session with Jo Whiley. The show was at the forefront of the Britpop scene and indie music in the UK. The Evening Session was the place to hear new music from Britpop bands like Pulp, Blur and Oasis. Jo Whiley left the Evening Session in 1997 but Steve carried on presenting the show solo until 2002. In April this year Steve and Jo reunited for a special Evening Sessions show marking the 20th Anniversary of the beginning of Britpop on Radio 2. In 2005 Steve started his drive time show on 6 Music where he continues to champion new music.
Steve also presented "Rock College" on Radio 2 from 2007 - 2013. Steve is only radio DJ to present shows on three 大象传媒 radio stations at the same time - Radio 1, 2 and 6 Music.

He chats with Shaun abotu his life and career and how new presenters can look to work in radio. Plus, we're after your Earworms & another Small Claims Court caller joins the show.
