Celtic head to Iceland to begin their European campaign against KR Reykjavik. Commentary by Liam McLeod and Mark McGhee.
Ronny Deila takes charge of Celtic for the first time in a competitive match as they start their European campaign in the Icelandic capital.
The Scottish champions have met Icelandic opposition only once before, when an aggregate score of 9-0 against Valur in the 1975 Cup Winners' Cup saw them progress to the second round. Victory over Reykjavik will mean a step closer to the lucrative Champions League group stages for the third time in as many seasons.
For their part, the Icelandic champions will be hoping to better their last result against a Scottish side when they lost 2-1 on aggregate to Kilmarnock in the 1999 UEFA Cup. In order to overcome Celtic, they will be looking to Kjartan Finnbogason to add to his club record of eight European goals. Finnbogason was on the Celtic books for three years from 2004 but failed to break into the first team. He did however score one goal in eight appearances while on loan at Falkirk in 2009.
