Sean Rafferty talks to top Scottish conductor Donald Runnicles ahead of his Proms appearance with Deutsche Oper Berlin in a performance of Strauss' Salome. Violinist Leonidas Kavakos joins us from Edinburgh where he prepares to perform Wolfgang Rihm's Lichtes Spiel with Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra and conductor Mariss Jansons as part of the Edinburgh International Festival and we have live music from young Italian pianist Vanessa Benelli Mosell, visiting the UK to play at Lyddington and Kings Place, London.
