The prize-winning entries from the ´óÏó´«Ã½ Proms Inspire Young Composers' Competition for composers aged 12-18, judged by a panel including Judith Weir and Anna Meredith.
Now in its sixteenth year, the ´óÏó´«Ã½ Proms Inspire Young Composers' competition offers composers aged 12 to 18 the opportunity to hear their works played by professionals at the prize-winners' concert, as well as receiving a much sought-after ´óÏó´«Ã½ commission. We'll hear the six winning entries, judged by a panel including composers Judith Weir and Anna Meredith, along with extracts from the highly commended pieces.
