Suranne Jones, Alistair McGowan and The Shires

Patrick Kielty hosts Suranne Jones previewing a new series of Scott and Bailey, Ricky Ross describing his perfect weekend, Alistair McGowan discussing Noel Coward, and the Shires.

As the new series of Scott and Bailey is about to hit our screens, leading actress and co-creator Suranne Jones joins Patrick from Manchester to talk about new characters and storylines from Sally Wainwright (Happy Valley, Last Tango in Halifax).

Actor and impressionist Alistair McGowan is joining his wife, actress Charlotte Page, on stage in London's West End to perform Sincerely Noel, a personally selected medley of songs and poems by Noel Coward.

Ricky Ross, most recently seen performing at the closing ceremony for the Commonwealth Games with his band Deacon Blue, will talk Patrick through his perfect weekend.

The Shires are a brilliant new band, tipped for great things in their native UK and across the Atlantic.
