Debate with Nihal at 10: Are Asians in Scotland more patriotic than Asians in England? On the show, a lot of Scottish Asians have spoken about their identity. When Nihal was in Edinburgh we would hear Asians describe themselves as Scottish! Not British Asian, not even Scottish Asian but just Scottish. But in England we hear people describing themselves as British Asian, British Muslim or British Indian. Why is that?
