Kaye asks: Writing off the Poll Tax debt - the right thing to do, or 'a tax-dodgers' charter?
The Scottish Government will bring in new laws to stop councils pursuing people for historic poll tax debts.
First Minister Alex Salmond announced the move after it emerged local authorities were using the electoral register to chase outstanding bills. But the Conservatives branded his policy a "tax-dodger's charter".

At this weeks Tory party conference David Cameron heaped praise on Scottish leader Ruth Davidson following the No vote in the referendum. He described her as a "new star" who would take the party's message to every corner of Scotland. Journalists have also credited Davidson with detoxifying the party in Scotland finally setting them free from the dark shadow of Thatcher's premiership. David Cameron told Scottish Tory activists that the No Campaign's victory in the independence referendum has created a huge opportunity to win back seats at the general election.
