In one of the tournament shocks last season, Celtic were knocked out of the competition by Morton, with Dougie Imrie's penalty in the seventh minute of extra time silencing the home support. Celtic have won the League Cup 14 times and last won the trophy in 2009, but their attempts to retain the cup were ended by tonight's visitors - a Michael Stewart penalty in the 58th minute the difference between the sides. Hearts lost in the 2013 final and have won the trophy on four occasions, the last success coming in 1962.
