Highlights of the opening weekend of the 2014 Super League play-offs. The top eight teams from the regular season are all in action, each hoping to eventually make it through to the grand final at Old Trafford on 11 October 2014. For two teams, defeat will see them eliminated from the competition. In 2013, both Huddersfield Giants and Warrington Wolves claimed qualifying play-off victory to progress directly through to week three. Hull Kingston Rovers and Catalan Dragons each suffered elimination play-off defeat to bring their seasons to an end.
