Clare Balding hosts the topical faith show and talks to Motown legend, Smokey Robinson. After more than 50 years in show business, Smokey is still going strong with a US tour and a new album released this year called 'Smokey & Friends'. He talks to Clare about growing up in Detroit, his music and how his faith has helped him through difficult times. Also joining Clare is young singer-songwriter, Jess Thristan who will be singing live on the programme.

Smokey Robinson

Smokey Robinson
Smokey Robinson, well-known as the frontman for The Miracles as well as being a singer-songwriter who has penned such hits as Tears of a Clown and My Girl has had over 50 years in the music business.  He released a new album in August called Smokey & Friends which sees him collaborate with the likes on Elton John, Mary J Blige and Gary Barlow.
