Brown Crab

Brown Crab

On Landward we love to champion sustainable, local foods especially if they are a little unloved or overlooked.  Brown crab is a great example.  It’s healthy, plentiful and thousands of tonnes of it are landed by Scottish fishermen every year.  But the majority of the catch heads straight for the continent.  Dougie goes crab fishing to see why crab is so sustainable; then Nick Nairn and Dougie take the famous Landward food van right into the heart of Dundee to see what the shoppers think of fresh crab.
