Together for Short Lives is a UK charity for children鈥檚 palliative care. We support all those who help, love and care for children and young people who are unlikely to reach adulthood. We work with children鈥檚 hospices and a range of other children鈥檚 palliative care services and professionals across the country to ensure that every child, young person and their family has the best possible care and support whenever and wherever they need it. Families often struggle to get the information they need about what help and support is available. Together for Short Lives offers a range of support and information for families and all those caring for a seriously ill child, including the dedicated Together for Families Helpline, downloadable guides and resources, and a 鈥済o to鈥� place for families on its website - 听

Every young person with a life-limiting or life-threatening condition deserves a smooth transition to adult services, respecting their wishes while providing care and support. That鈥檚 why Together for Short Lives is leading the Transition Taskforce; breaking down barriers to good transition and building bridges between adult and children鈥檚 services.

There are 53 children鈥檚 hospice services across the UK. We support these vital local services, through national fundraising partnerships, by raising awareness of their work, and by ensuring that their voice is heard.
