A political review of the week presented by Andrew Neil, with Michael Portillo and guests. Followed by the results from the Clacton and Heywood and Middleton by-elections.
Andrew Neil presents a political review of the week in an extended programme as by-election results from Clacton in Essex, and Heywood and Middleton in Greater Manchester, come in overnight.
He is joined by Michael Portillo, Diane Abbott and Miranda Green, with a film from Mehdi Hasan about Ed Miliband's capability of the job of prime minister, a review of the Liberal Democrat conference week with Nick Watt and a discussion on 'demonising' with David Baddiel.
As the by-election counts declarations approach, Andrew is joined by Conservative Greg Hands, Labour's Michael Dugher, UKIP's Diane James and Liberal Democrat Tom Brake, with analysis from professor John Curtice.
