Johnnie Walker hears 70s memories from Captain Sensible of the Damned.

Johnnie Walker celebrates the decade of Paul McCartney, Patti Smith and The Police.

This week he's joined in conversation by Captain Sensible, co-founder of original punks The Damned. Formed in 1976, they were the first punk band to release a single and album in the UK, as well as the first punks to tour the US. Sensible left the group in 1978, but rejoined in 1996 and continues to tour with the group to this day. Together with Johnnie, they'll cover the rise of punk in the decade and how the music made back then still reverberates to this day.

Also on the show, Johnnie will revisit a moment from the decade courtesy of the 大象传媒 archive and another classic seven-inch single will be added into Johnnie's Jukebox.
