Status Quo
Jo Whiley presents Status Quo in concert from the Camden Roundhouse.
Status Quo have been together for over 39 years. Throughout their decades of rocking they have notched up 22 UK top-tens, have had 65 hit singles, have sold over 100 million records worldwide and have spent 415 weeks in the British singles chart, it's no wonder Francis Rossi and Rick Parfitt were awarded OBEs in 2010 for their services to music.
The band recently released their 31st Studio album and in a complete departure from their usual sound they pushed themselves out of their comfort zone have gone acoustic. The nation's very own classic British rock band have played over 6000 live shows to a total audience in excess of 25 million people, but tonight it's all about The Roundhouse in Camden.
Don't expect any amps or electric guitars, instead anticipate and enjoy the new arrangements of all the much loved classic tracks from their back catalogue as they are enhanced by the sound of strings and backing vocals in this unique performance.
