The chief constable in charge of tackling child sexual exploitation says people have a duty to society to report such crimes if they know they are going on. Simon Bailey said the recent convictions for child grooming were a "significant wake-up call" for people to "take responsibility" and voice their concerns. Also today, the proportion of people living in northern England has fallen to its lowest level in almost 200 years, as thousands apparently head south in search of work.
