Georgian Day
Armagh is being taken back in time today, we’ll be chatting to Tourism Development Officer Sara McGeary about all things Georgian as carol singers, mulled wine, horse and carriages and characters in full Georgian regalia grace the streets of Armagh. We’ll also have crafter Ann Feely who’ll be hosting workshops today.Â
Georgian Day is on in Armagh from 10am until 8pm tonight (29th November)

Armagh Palace
Within walking distance of the Georgian Day celebrations in Armagh is the Archbishops Palace and that’s where Anne-Marie has been this week to meet John Paul Coyle, as Living History Manager with the council, he knows all about this architectural gem.
The Palace is open for guided tours today (29th November) at 11am and 2pm, lasting about an hour.
Victorian Street Fair
Whitehead in County Antrim is another place having a blast from the past today, this time it’s Victorian. We’ll be chatting to Patrick Ramsay from the community association who organise this Victorian Street Fair every year as well as Whitehead’s resident Victorian Blacksmith, Aaron Leach. Â

Willow Wreaths
Our reporter Caroline Nolan was down in Portaferry this week for a crash course on making Christmas Wreaths with beautiful and bendy willow wood. She met Clive Lyttle at Welig Heritage crafts on the Cloughey Road, Nunsbridge. Â
And if you fancy trying your hand a wreath making, there are classes coming up in The Down Arts Centre with Clive on the 6th, 19th and 20th of December.

Geo Community Week
Mourne, Cooley and Gullion are all areas which will be celebrated in Geo Community week, starting today on Slate Rock, Slieve Foy in Carlingford. John Devaney is The Education Officer with the project, he’ll be joining us to talk about the all the events coming up this week.

Sion Mills
You might remember Anne-Marie’s trip to Sion Mills back in July where she met local woman Georgina McClintock and adopted native Cass on the swinging bridge, well this week they’re in studio for a catch up on all things Sion Mills and we’ll even get a quick tune from Cass.
