Patricia Cornwell started her career as a computer analyst in the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, in Richmond, Virginia but is now one of the world鈥檚 best-selling authors.

She has sold over 100 million copies of her books worldwide, has picked up numerous awards and has just published her 22nd novel in the Dr Kay Scarpetta series.

The British Film Institute in London is currently holding a blockbuster season of events with guest speakers and screenings celebrating all things sci-fi. Well, today, Stanley Kubrick's masterpiece "2001: A Space Odyssey" returns to the cinema across the UK in a new digital release.

Since it was first seen in 1968, the movie has become a kind of touchstone for every sci-fi film that's followed and stars of the classic Keir Dullea and Gary Lockwood join Suzy in the studio.

Fellow Radio 2 colleague Anneka Rice, an art lover and artist took a trip to the National Gallery in London to get a private view of a new exhibition by her art teacher Maggi Hambling.

Maggi Hambling's "Walls of Water" exhibition is showing now at The National Gallery in London until 15th February 2015.

Arriving alone at Paddington Station, he soon finds that city life is not all he had imagined - until he meets the kindly Brown family, who find him with a label tied around his neck which reads 'Please look after this bear. Thank you.' They offer him a temporary home whilst he searches for the explorer who impressed Aunt Lucy all those years before. But when Paddington catches the eye of a sinister, seductive taxidermist, it isn't long before his home - and very existence - is under threat.

2. Horrible Bosses 2

After barely escaping with their lives when their plans to murder their bosses goes out of control, Nick, Dale and Kurt decide that they'll be better off launching a business of their own. But a slick investor has other plans, and when he manages to snake their successful venture right out from underneath them, the three friends launch a not-very-well-thought-out plan to kidnap the investor's adult son and trade him for control of their company.

Horrible Bosses 2 is rated 15 and is out now

3. The Possibilites Are Endless DVD

The Possibilities Are Endless is a documentary that tells the incredible story of Edwyn Collins, the Scottish songwriter who suffered a stroke; an explosion in the brain so severe that it effectively deleted the contents of his mind.

After a career as an internationally acclaimed lyricist, he lost all language and was only able to say two phrases: "The Possibilities are Endless" and "Grace Maxwell". The film is narrated by Edwyn, trapped.

The Possibilities Are Endless is released on DVD on Monday 1st December rated 12.
