To complete his journey through the history of terrorism Fergal Keane is joined by Professor Margaret Macmillan from Oxford University and the academic advisor to the series, Professor Richard English of St Andrews University.
Together they consider the evolution in the response of politicians and public to the bomb and the bullet and the lessons those 200 years of history should have taught us.
