Music by Schubert: two part-songs, featuring Anna Prohaska, Elisabeth Kulman, Daniel Behle, Luca Pisaroni and Wolfram Rieger. Piano Sonata in B flat, D960, with Marc-Andre Hamelin.

Founded by Hermann Prey in 1976, the Schubertiade is one of the most important and distinguished Schubert festivals in the world, presenting about 80 events each summer in the Austrian hill towns of Schwarzenberg and Hohenems.

In the final programme this week of highlights from concerts given this year in the Angelika Kauffmann Hall in Schwarzenberg, two Schubert part-songs are performed by a specially convened gorup of noted singers, and Canadian virtuoso Marc-Andr茅 Hamelin plays Schubert's final Piano Sonata, the B flat, D960.
