The Elias Quartet performs at the Concert Hall, Reading and Southampton University. Beethoven: String Quartet in C minor, Op 18 No 4; String Quartet in E minor, Op 59 No 2.
For the last three years, the Elias Quartet have been devoting their time to a complete concert cycle of the Beethoven quartets, which they have performed at venues up and down the country. The first instalment was broadcast on 大象传媒 Radio 3 over the Christmas-New Year period last year; now, in this second part, broadcast throughout this week on Radio 3 Lunchtime Concert, they bring the project to a conclusion.
