Following the attacks in and around Paris, France prepares for a day of national solidarity.

We look ahead to a national day of solidarity in France following the attacks in and around Paris this week. Police in north-east Nigeria say a bomb, which was strapped to a girl of around ten, has killed at least nineteen people. The militant group Boko Haram is being blamed.
