Inspired by Radio 3 Breakfast's "Best of British" playlist which ran throughout 2014, journalist Simon Heffer continues the choice of his favourite music by British composers, including works by Elgar, Vaughan Williams, Stanford, Edward German, George Dyson, John Ireland, Havergal Brian and Arnold Bax.
