Ellen E. Jones is the TV critic for The Independent and BA鈥檚 High Life magazine and a weekly columnist for The Independent on Sunday. Prior to that she worked for a national film education charity, and as a Los Angeles-based film correspondent. She has written on film, TV and other things for The Guardian, The Times, Esquire, Little White Lies and Total Film. Her proudest moments include getting chatted up by Kermit The Frog during an interview.

Re-release of the moving 1987 film about a friendship between two boys during the Nazi Occupation of France in their Catholic boarding school, where one of the boys is being hidden because he is Jewish.

I Am Yours (18)

Debut feature from Norwegian-Pakistani actress turned director Iram Haq is the startlingly honest story of a Norwegian-Pakitstani struggling actress, divorced single mother, whose unhealthy relationship with her own attractiveness leaves her desperately to find someone to love her, neglecting her relationship with her son and judgemental community.
