Lisa Friend and Anna Stokes, Robin Ticciati and Mitsuko Uchida, RNCM Frederic Cox Award

Suzy Klein's guests include acclaimed flautists Lisa Friend and Anna Stokes. Lisa performs at the Wigmore Hall in London tomorrow with pianist Mark Kinkaid. The lunchtime recital features works by Gaubert, Reinecke, Anderson and Chaminade. Anna and Lisa, together with Mark Kinkaid, recorded the album 'Luminance' which was released in January last year.

Also in the studio today is conductor Robin Ticciati and pianist Mitsuko Uchida. Robin conducts Mitsuko and the Scottish Chamber Orchestra tomorrow at Usher Hall in Edinburgh, with Mitsuko performing Ravel's Piano Concerto in G.

And we meet the winner of this year's RNCM Frederic Cox Award for Singing, the first of three major RNCM vocal competitions this year. Previous winners include Simon Keenlyside, Amanda Roocroft and Kathryn Rudge.
