Billy Fitzpatrick was keen to make a new start for his family in New Zealand. For wife Beth, things weren't as straightforward. She struggled to come to terms with the thought of leaving her mum behind in the UK.

Two years ago, the Fitzpatrick family spent a trial week living in Auckland. Beth seemed to be won over by the opportunities New Zealand offered, but did the family actually go ahead and make the move to the other side of the world?

UPDATE: Fitzpatrick family

Since filming, the Fitzpatrick family have moved house again, and are now living near the coast. Billy鈥檚 thriving at work after getting his promotion, and the boys have joined local clubs.

The family were delighted to have Beth鈥檚 Mum come and stay for two months in November last year.
