Sean Rafferty presents a selection of music and guests from the arts world, including the Tallis Scholars, mezzo-soprano Alice Coote and bass Matthew Rose.
Sean Rafferty's guests include one of the UK's longest established and most widely acclaimed early music choirs, the Tallis Scholars. They'll be performing live in the studio, with their conductor Peter Phillips, music by contemporary Estonian composer Arvo Part as they embark on a world tour of his music.
Also today, as The English Concert and its director Harry Bicket prepare to bring one of Handel's lesser known oratorios, Hercules, to Birmingham and London, we'll have live performance in the studio from some of the cast - including mezzo Alice Coote and bass Matthew Rose. Plus choreographer Robert Cohan and composer Eleanor Alberga discuss their new work Lingua Franca, on tour with Yorke Dance Project.
