Arcadia and Meccore Quartets at Wigmore Hall

The Arcadia and Meccore Quartets perform at Wigmore Hall, London. Haydn: String Quartet in E flat, Op 33 No 2 (Joke). Arcadia Quartet. Beethoven: String Quartet in F, Op 18 No 1.

Live from Wigmore Hall, London, a mini-quartet feast, featuring the First and Second Prize-winners at the 2012 Wigmore Hall London International String Quartet Competition. First the Arcadia Quartet play Haydn's 'Joke' Quartet, Op 33 No 2, then the Meccore Quartet play Beethoven's Quartet in F, Op 18 No 1. After the interval they both come together to perform Mendelssohn's great Octet, Op 20.
