When the teams met at St Mary's in December, Southampton took a first-half lead through Sadio Mane but Eden Hazard's brilliant equaliser earned Chelsea a point. Saints also led when they travelled to Stamford Bridge last season, but Chelsea fought back to win 3-1 and the Blues haven't lost at home to Southampton since 2002.

Manchester United host Tottenham, who are aiming for a third consecutive victory at Old Trafford. Last season, goals from Emmanuel Adebayor and Christian Eriksen earned Tim Sherwood's Spurs side a 2-1 win.

Elsewhere, Newcastle travel to Everton and Tony Pulis sees his new side West Brom host his former club Stoke at the Hawthorns.
