Twenty-Fifth Anniversary Show

Brian Matthew celebrates his twenty-fifth anniversary presenting the show with a selection of his favourite tracks from the 1960s.

Brian Matthew celebrates his 25th Anniversary presenting Sounds of the Sixties, after stepping into Keith Fordyce's shoes back in March, 1990. As one of Radio 2's longest serving and most loved radio personalities, Brian has entertained his loyal army of 'avids' with his expert knowledge and bank of remarkable anecdotes from every corner of the world of Sixties show business that he was very much at the heart of.

Brian will be playing a selection of his favourite tracks from the era, and expect some star studded well wishes from big Sixties names that have come forward to help him mark this special occasion.
