Stories

Richard III
Bill Turnbull goes behind the scenes at Leicester Cathedral to witness the preparations for a special service to lay to rest the remains of Richard III and historian Michael Wood is given exclusive access to the king’s own prayer book to examine evidence of his deep Christian faith.

Bishop On A Bike
For Lent this year, Bishop Edward Condry has given up using his car. And as he’s based in the rural area around Warminster in Wiltshire, that means cycling hundreds of miles every week. He is also trying to reduce his food miles by shopping locally. David Grant joins him on his tandem for the day.

St Piran’s Church
St Piran’s Oratory, thought to be the oldest four walled Christian structure in England, lies within the sand dunes at Gear Sands near Perranporth in Cornwall. Until recently it was buried, but now, thanks to a huge effort from the community, it’s recently been uncovered. Josie d’Arby donned her wellies and met the people involved.
