Donald Macleod focuses on Scriabin's return to Russia and the great music he wrote in the years before his sudden death.

In the month that sees the 100th anniversary of his death, Donald Macleod explores the life and career of the virtuoso pianist and composer Alexander Scriabin (1870-1915) "one of the most enigmatic and controversial and artistic personalities of all time". In this week's final programme, Donald explores Scriabin's return to Russia and the incredible music he wrote in the years before his sudden death.
