The Jam
Chris Hawkins presents the Jam in session for John Peel in 1977 and in concert at London's Rainbow on 4 December 1979.
As Paul Weller appears on Radio 2's In Concert, there's a chance to hear live music recorded by the 大象传媒 by his previous band, the Jam. As well as two early Peel sessions from 1977, we catch the band at the peak of their powers, recorded before an enthusiastic crowd at London's Rainbow on the 4th of December 1979. The set includes songs from the then newly-released Setting Songs album, as well as favourites from the acclaimed All Mod Cons, released the previous year.
