Reigning Olympic heptathlon champion Jessica Ennis-Hill makes her eagerly-awaited competitive return on the streets of Manchester, following the birth of her first child last year. She lines up in the 100m hurdles alongside fellow Brit Tiffany Porter, as the city once again plays host to the annual Great CityGames on a purpose-built athletics arena.
Katerina Johnson-Thompson, Britain's latest heptathlon sensation, is also in action. The 22-year-old newly-crowned European Indoor pentathlon champion takes on her British teammate Eilidh Child over the 200m hurdles. Child won European 400m hurdles gold and Commonwealth silver last season.
Olympic long jump champion Greg Rutherford and emerging talents Chijindu Ujah, Jodie Williams, Dina Asher-Smith and Morgan Lake are amongst the other Brits taking part.
