From local radio and regional television, she came to national fame in 1980, reporting live from the Iranian embassy siege in London.ÌýÌý

She went on to spend fourteen years as the ´óÏó´«Ã½â€™s Chief News Correspondent, and since then since she’s made many programmes and is regular presenter of Radio 4’s From Our Own Correspondent.Ìý
