Verity Sharp introduces performances by the ´óÏó´«Ã½ National Orchestra of Wales of Italian music conductor Francesco Angelico with by Rossini, Respighi and Verdi recorded last autumn at Venue Cymru in Llandudno. Soprano Ruby Hughes sings Italian opera arias by Respighi and Mozart, and Richard Hickox conducts Elgar's affectionate orchestral landscape of Italy, 'Alassio'.
