Zawe Ashton joins Shaun

Actress Zawe Ashton joins Shaun to chat about new drama Not Safe for Work. Plus Shaun is after Earworms, and Matt Everitt is here with the music news.

Wednesday sees Shaun joined by Zawe Ashton who stars as Katherine, who is recently divorced and troubled by secrets in her past in the new drama 'Not Safe For Work'. Zawe is maybe best known for her role of Vod in Fresh Meat but has also stared as Imani in Gone Too Far, Bianca in St. Trinian's 2 after kicking off her acting career starring in The Demon Headmaster age 6. She became London Poetry Slam champion at 17, had racked up writer credits for a string of highly praised plays before 25 (she's now 30), wrote and directed 大象传媒 short Happy Toys and has her own production company, Asylum Features. Zawe recently directed her second short film The Place We Go To Hide, starring Daisy Lowe and Tom Ellis on a budget of 拢15,000 for Corinthia Hotel London's artist in residence scheme

She chats with Shaun about the IMDB star system, her latest book which is a dramatisation of the film industry and about her role in Not Safe For Work.
