Thirty-Five Years of The Blues Brothers

Huey Morgan celebrates the thirty-fifth anniversary of the Blues Brothers. Expect Cab Calloway, Ray Charles, Booker T and the MGs, Aretha Franklin and the brothers themselves.

Orange Whip? Orange Whip? Orange Whip? Three Orange Whips. Huey celebrates 35 years since Jake and Elwood Blues hit our screens. Expect Cab Calloway, Ray Charles, Booker T and the MGs, Aretha Franklin and the brothers themselves.

Huey will also use the film's anniversary as an excuse to celebrate the musicians that helped create the Stax sound. Artists such as Isaac Hayes, Al Jackson Jr., Donald 'Duck' Dunn and Steve Cropper.

On top of that Huey will be bringing all the usual Saturday morning features.

He'll unveil his 'meat of the week', vegetarians don't panic, it's just his record of the week.

He'll be 'Diggin' In The Crates' once again and adding another listener suggestion to the perfect vinyl collection. It's big enough now to warrant it's own crate.

And Huey will be spinning that same unique mix of funk, punk, soul, rock, disco.... and doo wop, a mix you won't hear anywhere else on your dial.

The start of the weekend is in the safest possible hands, and that's a fact, Jack.
