Hosted by Katherine Ryan. The nine stylists are sent on their first professional challenge - styling hair backstage at one of London's most exclusive 1920s cabaret nights. In the first of two challenges, they will have to think on their feet to give some of the guests the vintage hairdo of their dreams.
In the second challenge, the stylists are up against the clock as they have to give the dancers who will be taking centre stage at the event vintage waves, which are notoriously difficult to pull off. Vintage expert Sarah has the skills to win this task, but can she handle the pressure? Will aspiring stylists Phil, Jaime and Meggan master the technique and ensure their dancer's hair is completely dry before they hit the stage? Whoever fails to impress will leave the contest for good.
