Vic Galloway sits in for Marc Riley with a live session from US post-punk band Pere Ubu.

The pre punk pre post punk trail blazers released the band's 18th studio album Carnival of Souls last year. The most recent release is LP box set Elitism For The People 1975 - 1978 a remastering of the albums The Modern Dance (1978), Dub Housing (1978), The Hearpen Singles (1975-1977), Manhattan (Recorded live at Max's Kansas City 1977).
The band's been making and releasing music for over 40 years and was formed in Cleveland, Ohio by David Thomas in 1975. They are regarded as highly influential in the biz, and produce what David has coined Avant-Garage music.
