1970s punk stars Alternative TV join Marc Riley for a session.

Alternative TV join us for a session - this has been a long time in the making.

The 70's punk legends have a new album out called Opposing Forces, produced and mixed by Dave Morgan (The Loft, The Weather Prophets; The Rockingbirds) - not bad eh?

In 1976 Mark Perry (then known as Mark P) was a bank clerk when, inspired by The Ramones, he founded punk fanzine Sniffin' Glue (And Other Rock 'n' Roll Habits). Perry formed Alternative TV in March 1977, rehearsing at Throbbing Gristle's Industrial Records Studios in Hackney.

14 singles, 10 studio albums and 37 years later they now finally bagged a Riley session - Good on 'em.

The band now is Mark Perry: vocals, Lee McFadden and Clive Giblin: guitars, Steve Carter: bass and Dave Morgan: drums.
