Queen's Hall Series: Sarah Connolly

Live from the Queen's Hall in Edinburgh, mezzo-soprano Sarah Connolly and pianist Malcolm Martineau perform songs and lieder by Schoenberg, Debussy, Strauss and Korngold.

One of Britain's finest singers, Sarah Connolly, and acclaimed pianist Malcolm Martineau perform a richly romantic programme of songs and lieder contrasting the fin-de-si猫cle Vienna of Schoenberg, Zemlinsky and Strauss with the cool eroticism of Debussy and eccentricity of Poulenc. as well as works by Austrian 茅migr茅 composers Eisler and Korngold live from the Queen's Hall in Edinburgh.
