Drinks is the work of two of Marc Riley session veterans, Cate Le Bon and one-time Fall member, Ty Segall collaborator, White Fence mainman, (the list goes on...) Tim Presley.
Recorded while Cate was making her third solo album on America's West Coast, Drinks' debut album, Hermits on Holiday, is the sum of its musical and geographical parts, marrying West Coast psych with the minimal Welsh bedroom pop of Young Marble Giants for a record crammed with off-the-cuff pop genius. Touring in September, Drinks stop off at Salford's 6 Music studio for a live session.
