Flame Gasworks
Flame gasworks in Carrickfergus, the only surviving gasworks in Ireland and one of only three gasworks in the whole of the UK.聽 It was saved by volunteers in the Carrickfergus Gasworks Preservation Society, who knew the value of this unique building.聽 Brian McKee tells Helen Mark the story it tells about the town.聽
