He'd not even heard of them a week ago but tonight Marc is joined by Manchester four piece MOTHER. Plus Cowboy Rob Hughes and his brace of Americana tunes.
MOTHER can proudly claim to have had everyone of their recordings played on the Marc Riley show. Mind you they've only done one - My Lies. Marc been playing it repeatedly since he discovered it last week and that's why he's invited them in for a session.
With their roots in drone and minimalism among other things MOTHER have collaborated with film and music event collective Video Jam and played at Sounds From The Other City as part of Sways Records' The Ring Cycle.
