Music 'til Midnight - the best in easy listening sounds and timeless standards performed by the greatest artists from the past 60 years - including singers Dee Dee Bridgewater, Rosemary Clooney and The Hi-Lo's, plus instrumental classics from alto saxophonist Lou Donaldson and trumpeter Till Bronner. This week's featured album is September Of My Years. Released exactly 50 years ago in September 1965 this was Frank Sinatra's 50th Birthday present to himself. Recorded in collaboration with arranger Gordon Jenkins the collection of songs found Ol' Blue Eyes taking stock of his life as he reached his half century. The featured songs include Sunny Skylar's Don't Wait Too Long, Sammy Cahn and Jimmy Van Heusen's The September Of My Years and Ervin Drake's classic It Was A Very Good Year.
