Chance for Childhood
A childhood shouldn鈥檛 be spent on the streets, or in a war
zone, or working in a field. It shouldn鈥檛 be spent imprisoned at home by
disability and the stigma that surrounds it.
It should be spent in school, and a nurturing, safe home
environment.
Yet many children are robbed of their childhood by
disability, conflict or extreme poverty. Chance for Childhood helps local
communities in East Africa and Brazil to protect their children and give them
the chance of a proper childhood.

A former child soldier catches up on his lost education at the Patongo Youth Centre
Your help can support former child soldiers to deal with their traumatic experiences and gives them the chance to enjoy the education and simple pleasures of childhood that they were robbed of.
