Gilles Peterson sits in for Lauren and welcomes Manchester based trumpeter, composer, arranger and band-leader Matthew Halsall live in session. Currently performing with his Gondwana Orchestra, Matthew takes on several musical guises, and made his name first and foremost on the UK jazz scene. Now he's slowing things down and taking his pointers from soul and soundtracks with the wonderful 'Into Forever' album. He'll be performing tracks for us live with extraordinary vocalist Joesphine Oniyama.
