Mary Anne Hobbs sits in for Lauren with Maribou State live in session. The electronic duo join us to play tracks from their debut album, Portraits.

Released in May on Ninja Tune imprint, Counter Records, Portraits is the long-awaited debut album from Chris Davids and Liam Ivory - a duo who have been steadily building a reputation with their deep, melodic downbeat jams over the past few years. Having released two EPs, remixed the likes of Lana Del Ray and Alpines, and hosted a Radio 1 residency, Portraits is the culmination of a process that has seen Maribou State hone in on their distinctive, R&B-tinged take on electronic music.
